Warnings are used to warn against possible personal injury or damage to property. All warnings have the following uniform structure:

The product has been built in accordance with the state of the art and recognized safety regulations. Nevertheless, improper or non-intended use may result in damage to the device and other material assets. The product is used for energy management in a household. Any other use or use that goes beyond this is considered improper use. The manufacturer/supplier is not liable for any damage resulting from this. The risk is borne solely by the operator. Intended use also includes observing the operating and installation instructions and all other applicable documents.

When handling the product, observe all safety instructions on the packaging and on the device. Before commissioning and regularly during operation, check that there is no damage to the device, the accessories and the power supply cable. If in doubt, contact Solarwatt. Do not use force when plugging in the mains plug. Make sure that the mains voltage of the device is identical to the mains voltage of your country. Do not open the Manager flex! Removing or damaging the housing may expose live parts and impair the function of the equipment.

Removing or damaging the warranty seal will void the warranty.

The product is only suitable for installation in dry, dust-free indoor areas. Protect the device from dust, moisture, aggressive substances and vapors. The ambient temperature must be between 0°C and +40°C. S0, LAN and USB connectors are designed to be twist-proof. Do not try to insert the connectors by force.

Do not cover the device and do not close the ventilation slots.Do not touch any electronic components or connectors on the Manager flex, as this may cause damage or destruction. To reduce electrostatic charge, touch an earthed, conductive object, e.g. a radiator, before working on the device. Make sure that the Manager flex does not move from a cold environment to a warm environment immediately before startup. Ensure sufficient temperature equalization. If the product is damaged (e.g. loose parts inside the housing or cracks in the housing after the device has been dropped), take it out of operation immediately. Only operate the product if the device is in a technically perfect condition.

To use the full functionality of the product, you should connect the device to the local network with Internet access. The communication path between the product and the services on the Internet is secured according to the current state of the art. Be careful with passwords that allow other participants to access your network or end devices and accounts.

The protection of your personal energy data has the highest priority. The Manager platform is permanently kept up to date with the latest security technology to ensure that energy data can only be accessed by the owner and participants who are authorized to do so. Updates are performed automatically. The data collected by Manager flex may differ from the data collected by the electricity meter. The Manager flex data is not suitable for billing purposes.
