Battery flex AC-1

SOLARWATT Battery flex AC-1 has an Ethernet interface and can be directly integrated into the local network via this.

Installation

Setup in SmartSetup

Prerequisite: Battery flex is completely and correctly installed and connected to the local network.

  • Battery flex AC-1 is automatically found in SmartSetup via Autodiscovery and appears in the Devices list (Setup menu item Search devices).
  • The AC sensor belonging to Battery flex (AC sensor via BatteryFlex) is automatically set up as the main meter by Smart Setup.

If Battery flex does not automatically appear in the device list, check if the device is available on the local network (via network scan - note, a network scan requires prior consent from your customer) or access to the router's local user interface).

Furthermore, there is the option of a manual search. To do this, click in the search field under the Search devices menu item and select Battery flex.
The following options are
available:

  • Auto-discovery of the IP address: Equivalent to starting the autodiscovery manually.
  • Manual assignment of the IP address: The IP address of the Battery flex must be explicitly specified. If you select this option, the IP address should be fixed in the local network (in the router settings).
  • Then click the Search devices and install button

Search devices

  • In the menu item Search and install devices, both the old device (red message: There is a connection error) and the new device (green message: Device is installed) appear.
  • Delete the old device by clicking on the cogwheel and Remove device

House consumption

  • Check that the AC sensor of the new device is selected as the main meter in the Home consumption menu item; if necessary, reload the page.

Note

The analysis data is displayed in the SOLARWATT Manager portal without gaps, regardless of whether the device is old or new. Only the historical data of the state of charge can no longer be accessed.
