MyReserve Matrix is “Product of the Year 2018

Important praise for the MyReserve Matrix solar battery from SOLARWATT: readers of the trade magazine, elektrobörse smarthouse, have voted the modular battery solution "Product of the Year 2018" in the "Renewable Energies" category. The home and commercial battery came in first place ahead of submissions by Solar-Log and Weidmüller. Approximately 1,400 people, primarily electrical tradesmen, planners, and fitters, took part in the reader's choice survey. "With the modular design of our newest generation battery system we had not only the end user in mind, but also the installers. Our main focus here was on easy handling and quick installation. We are very pleased that our battery solution has been so well received at home and abroad," says Detlef Neuhaus, CEO of SOLARWATT GmbH. Last year, the predecessor model of the MyReserve Matrix was named Product of the Year 2017.

In addition to the award from smarthouse, the SOLARWATT MyReserve Matrix also made it onto the "Industry Award 2018" list. This top-class award has been presented by Huber Verlag für Neue Medien at the Hanover Fair for more than a decade. The Dresden-based premium manufacturer’s battery convinced a jury of professors, scientists, industry experts, and trade journalists because it is the world's first battery "which entirely adapts to individual needs and not vice versa". For more and more commercial enterprises, self-sufficiency with solar power is a worthwhile opportunity to reduce their energy costs. MyReserve Matrix is suitable both for installation in a new PV system and retrofitting existing systems.
