SOLARWATT's Energy Manager has been elected Product of the Year 2019. In a readers' poll by the magazine "elektrobörse smarthouse", the intelligent control center of the decentralized energy system took second place in the "Renewable Energies" category. SOLARWATT thus prevailed over suppliers of other management systems, such as Solarfox and Solar Data Systems. More than 1,000 people of the journal’s readership took part in the vote, including electricians installing the devices for the end customers, as well as home interior planners and installers.
More and more homeowners are recognizing the advantages of energy self-sufficiency and equip their homes with photovoltaic systems. They entrust the optimization of their energy flows to the EnergyManager. This intelligent control system reduces the consumption of grid electricity and maximises the use of self-generated solar power. This is done by switching household appliances like heating rods or heat pumps on and off at sensible times or charging an electric vehicle with excess solar power. The EnergyManager X, a small black device similar to a Wifi router, thus relieves the environment and your wallet.
"The experiences of both groups, installers as well as end users, have been incorporated into the further development of our EnergyManager", sums up SOLARWATT Managing Director Detlef Neuhaus. "This is the only way to design a product that satisfies every particular group of customers. With the EnergyManager Portal, the user interface through which the end customer regulates his power consumption, we made sure everything works as intuitively as possible. So optimizing consumption and saving energy makes fun."
