New use cases for the SOLARWATT MyReserve Matrix battery: by combining several battery units, the Dresden system provider’s batteries are interesting the commercial sector, with its higher power and capacity needs. Now up to five battery systems, each with a control unit and five battery modules can be connected to form a single unit. This corresponds to a total capacity of 60 kWh and 20 kW of power. "Our installer partners now have the opportunity to tap completely new customer groups in the commercial sector," says SOLARWATT CEO, Detlef Neuhaus. At the Düsseldorf trade fair "Energy Storage Europe", the premium provider of photovoltaic systems will present a commercial battery with the maximum capacity of 60 kWh.
The AC Sensor meter has also been further developed. Now photovoltaic systems with significantly higher currents can be connected to the MyReserve Matrix battery: 250 amps instead of 63 amps. "When launching the MyReserve Matrix last summer, we announced that installers will only need two components in the future to cover the majority of possible storage applications. This first step is 5 batteries operating as one self-organized commercial battery. This brings us closer to our goal of offering unlimited green energy for all fields of application. And this is not the end of scalability!" Dr. Olaf Wollersheim, Managing Director of the Research and Development Center, SOLARWATT INNOVATION.
A SOLARWATT Premium Partner, ewenso GmbH, is one of the first installers to install MyReserve commercially: "The advantage of the MyReserve Matrix is its extreme flexibility for every conceivable customer requirement," says Sven Dönnewald, specialist for PV systems at ewenso. "For us, MyReserve Matrix means providing profitable solutions for both home and business without additional training. This also increases our own productivity."
Energy Storage Europe will take place from March 13 to 15, 2018 at Messe Düsseldorf. SOLARWATT will be presenting at stand number 8b-G23.
