SOLARWATT and Fronius to enter partnership to promote international sales

Source: Fronius

SOLARWATT, premium provider of photovoltaic systems, and Fronius Solar Energy, global solution provider in the field of renewable energy, are to enter into a partnership. This will include a global distribution agreement, the inclusion of partner products in the respective portfolios, as well as joint research and development activities.

With immediate effect, SOLARWATT can now offer powerful Fronius inverters. These inverters complement both SOLARWATT complete packages, the MyReserve MR500, MR800 and the flexibly scalable MyReserve Matrix storage solutions, which will allow applications up to multi megawatt. In turn, Fronius will build on SOLARWATT’s storage expertise. In the future, the cooperation partners also plan to develop common innovative energy solutions.

The cooperation of both companies currently concerns Germany, Austria, Switzerland, UK, Italy, and Australia. More countries will join as the cooperation continues. SOLARWATT’s CEO Detlef Neuhaus says: “Fronius and SOLARWATT have many interesting points of contact and a product portfolio that complements each other well.” He explains: “Thus far, we have mainly targeted private households. With Fronius inverters and our MyReserve Matrix, we can now also offer customised and economically efficient solutions to business enterprises requiring PV-systems in higher power classes. Installers and municipal utilities may thereby extrapolate new customer groups.”

Martin Hackl, head of the business unit at Fronius Solar Energy, is looking forward to the collaboration with the solar pioneer from Dresden: “For Fronius, the cooperation with SOLARWATT is the ideal complement to the existing portfolio surrounding the hybrid inverter Fronius Symo Hybrid and enables customers to enter the home storage market - both single-phased and three-phased - using a Fronius standard inverter like the Fronius Primo or Fronius Symo.

Fronius has set itself a clear vision: 24 Hours of Sun. Daily, Fronius is working to realise its goal of a future in which renewable energy meets 100 percent of the global energy demand. Consequently, Fronius focuses on solutions to generate solar energy efficiently and intelligently, to store it, and to distribute and consume it.

SOLARWATT has been offering complete photovoltaic packages for several years, providing decentralised energy supplies with clean solar power. These packages include premium solar modules with glass-glass technology, an intelligent energy manager, as well as all the accessories. A MyReserve storage or warm water heat pump are optional additions to the package. With its complete photovoltaic solutions, SOLARWATT guarantees optimal compatibility of the components, all of which are manufactured in Germany. What is more, a 30 year guarantee and SOLARWATT FullCoverage on the glass-glass modules protect against external influences such as theft and weather damage and failure or reduction of generation due to damage.
