SOLARWATT, premium provider of photovoltaic systems, is one of the most innovative German energy companies. The renowned business magazine brand eins has included the Dresden-based medium-sized company in its annual “top innovators” list for the fourth time in a row.
More than 22,000 people are interviewed for the ranking, including representatives of innovation-winning companies, experts from the Berlin Institute for Innovation and Technology and experts from the Statista Expert Circle.
“Anyone who wants to be successful in today’s energy world must act agile and innovative in this volatile market. And this taking the sometimes obstructive political framework conditions for energy system transformation in Germany into account,” said SOLARWATT Managing Director Detlef Neuhaus.
SOLARWATT has comprehensively modernised its module production line at its Dresden headquarters. Based on this, the conversion to 5 busbar technology and a significant increase in the module performance classes have been undertaken. In December, the company announced that it would concentrate completely on the production of its high-quality glass-glass modules.
With this product, SOLARWATT has been the European market leader for several years now. “The challenges in the solar industry are far from being diminished by Asian competition. However, we are living proof that premium quality is still being manufactured in Germany and Europe: with intelligent energy systems consisting of photovoltaic modules, energy management and battery storage,” said Neuhaus.
